The essentials you want to pack for a weekend away
Summer is almost over, but that doesn't mean you have yet to say bon voyage to weekend getaways! Whether you are on vacation hours or minutes from home, this is the preparation and packaging service for you. In this post, we'll take a look at 5 essentials you'll definitely want to have on hand for your next weekend.
1. Smart and lean luggage
No matter how long you travel, you should always have a solid set of luggage on your side. If you're going on a weekend trip, you'll want something that's not too bulky, something you can easily grab and go while packing and unpacking, and of course, something that looks classy too.
As for longer journeys, we recommend that you subscribe to the same set of standards but also make sure your bag has plenty of room to compartmentalize all your goods. Having separate spaces for each category of items - your underwear, shoes, and clothes - will help you stay organized throughout your trip. Plus, if you select multiple destinations, you'll be able to access the things you need more easily as you travel from point A to point B and beyond.
While shopping for a set of luggage, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Size: Do you usually carry on board or check in luggage on most trips?
Style: Depending on where you are headed and what you are doing there, a backpack or duffle bag may make more sense than a wheeled bag.
Space: Space is probably the most important element to consider as you search for the right luggage for your needs. If a set doesn't already come with packing cubes, you might want to consider adding these to make your packing much more efficient.
2. Travel treats
Whether you're heading out on a road trip, an outdoor adventure, or even a relaxing vacation, having some treats on hand works wonders for keeping you motivated and on peak vacation mode, especially if you have small children in tow. ! Simply fill the rotary coolers with some tasty fizzy drinks, healthy fruits and veggies, and some indulgent charcuterie snack packs.
3. Comfortable and versatile clothing

If you are more of a "go with the flow" type of traveler, the odds are that many spontaneous adventures will come your way while on vacation. This means that you will want to be prepared for all the fun that awaits you on your journey. Be sure to pack comfortable and versatile clothing such as the following items to ensure you get the most out of your adventure:
Sportswear
Sports shoes (bonus if they double as casual wear)
Windbreaker
Dark jeans (can be casual or dinner date worthy)
Graphic t-shirts (cute and comfortable casual wear to relax)
In addition to all your daily clothing, be sure to bring items specific to your destination - if you are going to a warm place, a bathing suit would be a good accessory to have, while cooler weather might require a heavy jacket and knitted sweaters.
4. A good book
There is nothing more relaxing than opening a good book while on vacation. There is something about a quiet beach or mountain porch that is the perfect setting for turning the pages. When it comes to choosing the right holiday book, it really comes down to personal preference.
