Wandering writer

Some writers are the type of people who continue to wander many times. To accomplish something, to visit acquaintances, and to nothing. There are various purposes, but once you do it, you become addicted and often travel many times. How did that happen?
This time, I decided to focus on five domestic and foreign writers and follow their free-spirited steps.
Taneda Santoka "Wandering to die"
Taneda Santoka, famous for his freedom poetry and the name of a ramen shop, was born in a good family in Yamaguchi Prefecture. In his childhood, he was called "Shosama" and was loved. However, at the age of 10, his father was absorbed in election campaigns and geisha play, and his mother, who could not see it, committed suicide by jumping into a well. This trauma made me unmotivated no matter what I did.
I got married in my twenties and had a child
"The first misfortune is my mother's suicide, the second misfortune is a drinking habit. The fourth misfortune is marriage and becoming a father."
Is ranting. It's quite appropriate to skip the third, but I couldn't get married with this feeling and divorced. Opening an antiquarian bookstore in Kumamoto failed, and relatives died one after another. When I thought that I had moved to Tokyo, I was involved in the Great Kanto Earthquake and eventually returned to Kumamoto. It's just stepping on and kicking.
I don't know anymore. At the age of 42, Santouka was sharp. After getting drunk and jumping out in front of the tram and causing trouble to people, he decided to go home at the temple where he was taken over. Wearing a faded robe and jikatabi, he rushes into the days of wandering. Of course, in such a state, there was no way to follow such rules as haiku being 5, 7, 5, and the style became more and more chaotic.
To visit a place related to the respected Ozaki Hosai, to pilgrimage to his late mother, to meet an old friend ... I ran around western Japan for some reason, and then traversed 88 places in Shikoku. However, it is ironic because he is too enthusiastic to lose his goal and attempt suicide because of his emptiness.
"Let's go on a journey to find a place to die"
It was the ultimate state of affairs when I was about 60 years old. Departing from his hometown of Yamaguchi, he continues walking innocently for about half a year. Before I knew it, the road had reached Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture. In the end, I couldn't find a place to die like this, but it seems that my heart was a little blown away by the long journey that I have never seen before. At Eiheiji Temple in Fukui Prefecture, where I stopped by on my way home, I left behind my masterpiece "Eiheiji 3 Phrase", and at the end I enjoyed riding a boat without a gala.
The place of death that I finally found in my last years was Ichikusaan in Matsuyama, which is known for its warm climate. "Ichiki Ichikusa and Shizuka also receive the life of the universe and live a life of gratitude," he wrote in his diary.
"Wandering because I was a married couple"

Mitsuharu first published a douujinshi and a collection of virgin poems, "Akado no Ie," and failed in the mining business. After that, I went to Europe as if nothing had happened. After returning to Japan, my father, who suddenly appeared, asked me for money, saying, "I want to invent," and the heritage has run out in just a few years.
Then, in 1924, he met Michiyo Mori, a fateful woman. Two people who are similar get married and get pregnant without any plan. I fell into extreme poverty, which was enough to delinquent rent for several months. In addition, he borrowed money and went to Shanghai to spend exciting days with Lu Xun and many other cultural figures, but perhaps the stimulation was too strong, the worst situation was when Michiyo had an affair with an art critic. In a hurry, Mitsuharu proposes to Paris, saying, "Let's make a reconciliation trip!" Of course there is no money. The light that invites you is amazing, but the three thousand generations that follow are also three thousand generations.
Traveling abroad before the war was harsh. Hong Kong, Singapore, Java, Malay Peninsula. Sometimes water alone can help you get hungry, and board a boat to cling to cheap deck seats. Mitsuharu drew a picture for the travel expenses and managed to open a painting exhibition. I don't know how the paintings I learned when I was young will come to life here.
Finally, they arrived in Paris, the city of flowers.
Mitsuharu Kaneko who left many works. The expressive power to draw even manure beautifully was highly evaluated, and he left behind a trilogy of travel stories of "Dokuro Cup," "Nemure Pari," and "Nishi Higashi." According to his son, it was "just a crappy jijii", but anyway, young women rushed to the funeral.
Wandering after a man
Area: Tokyo ("Wandering Record"), East Asia-Trans-Siberian Railway Crossing-Paris / London, Beijing, Sakhalin, etc.
At the age of 19, he relies on his college student's lover to move to Tokyo. Dreaming of getting married after graduation, she changes jobs such as a writer's maid, medicine arrangement, female worker, midwife apprentice, public bath footsteps, street vendors, and so on. In the end, he broke up with his lover, but instead of returning home, he continued to bring the manuscript to the publisher by moving to various men.
The later "Wandering Record" summarizes the days of those days. Fumiko's fortune and man's luck were devastating. Try using cabbage as a staple food, work for an actor, or be thrown away by a poet in the dirt floor. There was no reason why it wasn't interesting because such a life became a book.
Fumiko Hayashi is Japan's world-class "wandering female entertainer." There are two theories about the origin, Shimonoseki and Kitakyushu, but the person himself said that "Travel is Furusato" and "Onomichi is Furusato" ... I don't care anymore. The masterpiece is "Wandering Record", which is known to have been played by Mitsuko Mori 2000 times.
When he was eight years old, he left home as a mother and child when his father had an affair with a geisha. When he moved to a coal mine town full of workers, he helped his household by selling cosmetics and anpan. Her strength lies in the fact that the living environment of those days is not a complex, but rather an identity.
In 1931, Fumiko, who became a popular writer, set out for Paris alone. At that time, the Manchurian Incident had just happened, and in an extremely dangerous situation, I went to Korea regardless, passed through Manchuria, and jumped on the Trans-Siberian Railway. There are two reasons. One was inspired by Mitsuharu Kaneko's vitality. The other is to chase after my favorite man. In the end, I didn't fall in love, but I regained my mind and fell in love with another man.
After that, she wandered around Hokkaido, Sakhalin, Beijing, etc., and accompanied her to the battlefield as a correspondent for a newspaper company. It is said that the reason for continuing to wander was also to avoid relatives approaching with money.
Fumiko, who was once ridiculed as a "writer who sells hardships," changed her reputation after the war as "a hungry writer who is willing to do any work." And at the age of 40, he finally builds his final home. He himself reads 200 architectural books, decides on the floor plan, and asks architect Bunzo Yamaguchi for his commitment. The ideal was "a house where the north, south, east and west winds blow through." Certainly, it's perfect for her who smokes 50 cigarettes a day.
