It is important to the remember that it will take some effort to the get to these places. So you have to be prepared. For example, after the climbing 300 meters of the sand dunes or the active volcano here the, you will not find a comfortable bed in a five star hotel.


Concordia, Pakistan



To reach Concordia, the base camp of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, you will have to walk 10 days in Gilgit-Baltistan and cross the Baltoro, Goodwin Austin and Vienna glaciers. Then you will reach the foot of K2, the second largest mountain in the world.


There is no easy way to get here. It is one of the few places in the world where you can be buried in the middle of the mountains.


Photographer Galen Royle called it the "throne of the mountain gods." The secret to the beauty of Concordia is its remoteness. It was named after European tourists who thought it was like the European mountain range, the Alps.


Empty Quarter, Saudi Arabia


Call it the Quarter of Empty or the 'House of Silence', the largest area of   sand on earth feels somewhat empty. Maybe that's why it's called 'Empty Quarter'.


If you combine France, Belgium and the Netherlands, this area of   the Arabian Peninsula is even bigger. The sand dunes here are even taller than the Eiffel Tower, which is more than 300 meters high and stretches for hundreds of kilometers.


The Eiffel Tower stands firmly in place in Paris, but these sand dunes change their position every year due to strong winds of up to 30 meters.


Cape York, Australia


Australia is known as a country with many desert areas. Cape York is also a remote and inaccessible area for its cities.


To get to the far north of the country, you have to travel in a four-wheel drive jeep, which may shake your jaw.


They are about 1000 km from Cape Cairns. This means traveling by car for several days to get here and crossing lakes full of crocodiles. Your reward will be a rocky coastline. And nothing more.

National Park, Canada

Alzheimer's Island



Canada's second-largest national park is probably the least visited. It is located in the far north of North America on the island of Alzheimer's, 80 degrees north, also known as Cape Columbia.


Due to the cold here, tourists have to keep their hands in their pockets. You will have to spend C 32,000 to get here on a charter flight from a nearby village. There are no facilities like roads or trees in this park.


But there are polar bears and beautiful mountains. It is also home to the northernmost village in Canada, called Garz Fayward. You can go there too.


North Pole


The northernmost point in the world is the North Pole of the world. Some people call it the home of Santa Claus. Obviously, why would anyone go so far as to disprove this story?


There is no land in the North Pole compared to the South Pole. Tourists come here for water, the water that is made of ice in the Atlantic Ocean (Arctic Ocean).


In summer it is 9 million square kilometers, while in winter it is 16 million square kilometers. Its depth is only 5 meters. It's amazing when compared to Antarctica's 3,000-meter-wide ice.


Robinson Crusoe Island, Chile


Robinson Crusoe is said to be the most famous but solitary character in literary history. The island named after him is just as lonely and famous. It is 670 km off the coast of South America.


It was discovered in  the 1704 when Alexander Silkerk, after a battle with the captain of his ship, demanded that he be landed on the shore.


He lived here the alone for four years. He is said to have asked novelist Daniel Defoe to write a character named Robinson Crusoe.


Today, about 500 people live on this Pacific island, and the number of tourists visiting here is close to 100.


Nevada Mismi, Peru




The Amazon is said to be the largest river in the world. But until a few years ago, it was not known where the water was coming from.
